This course was designed by two famous architects. The Palmer Course was named after its designer, Arnold Palmer, and the Maples Course was given the name of its architect, Ellis Maples. The 36-hole layout provides excellent value for a golf package. Woodlake offers players plenty of challenges and spectacular scenery. Woodlake is not far from Vass, off of Highway 690. This resort is north of Pinehurst by about 30 minutes.
The Palmer Course has a Par 72. Tees are 6,882 yards, 6,283 yards, 5,724 yards, 5,475 yards and 5,054 yards.
Par is also 72 for the Maples Course. Tees are 7,043 yards, 6,791 yards, 6,272 yards and 5,893 yards.
